Welcome to Dogs & Owners Guidance School where training your dog will be fun, informative and effective. We only use positive motivational methods to train both you and your dog. This type of training will ensure you build a trusting relationship with your dog and learn the skills necessary to make your lives together happy and harmonious.

Our classes are small to ensure you receive individual attention and are held in a relaxed, informal stress- free environment. Our trainers are experienced and qualified and the exercises taught gradually progress from easy to more complex, building up you and your dogs understanding and ability each week.

Classes are available for puppies, adult dogs and rescue dogs (all our trainers are involved in training and welfare with local rescues). You will learn a great deal in class. An explanation of each exercise will be given to you, then the exercise will be demonstrated, and then you will get an opportunity to practice them yourself. We will provide homework/information sheets so that you can continue your training during the week in between classes. Training little and often each day, for example during the TV adverts, is the best way for dogs to learn and also means that it need not become a chore for you.

Help is always available to you, not only whilst you are attending our six-week courses, but at all times. We do not use any harsh methods – we use modern proven methods of training which are kind, fair and effective. We use our understanding of how dogs learn and what motivates them.

In addition to classes, we are also able to offer One-to-One training in and around your home - If you can't attend a regular training class, why not have a personal training session covering the aspects that are important to you and your dog. The cost is £40 per session which lasts about an hour (plus £5 travelling if more than 5 miles from Banstead)

We are now also able to offer half day and full day care and boarding. We can offer one off or regular care. No more than 4 dogs will be walked together at any time and we will try and match temperament and exercise requirement. Last minute bookings our speciality, text, call or email for further details.
